Havana and Chris chose an intimate celebration of just eighteen guests—a pace and presence that felt deeply aligned with their lives, their family, and the desire to savor every moment together. As the kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chris’s world is fast-paced, high-pressure, and constantly in motion. An intimate wedding offered the rare gift of stillness—a chance for the two of them, and their son, to be truly present without distraction. Set on the private greens of The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, their ceremony unfolded in timeless black-tie elegance, with sculptural orchids and a refined black-and-white palette echoing the couple’s modern, minimalist style. Their son played a tender role throughout the day, underscoring why an intimate celebration meant so much: every moment was shared together, deliberately and wholeheartedly. When a sudden storm threatened to move the ceremony indoors, our team and vendor partners moved seamlessly in sync—seizing the first clear window to bring their outdoor vision to life against a fresh, rain-kissed backdrop. Dinner at Knife Italian offered a chic, modern close to the evening—a warm table shared only with their closest loved ones. The beauty of an intimate wedding lies in its intention: every glance, every toast, every detail truly belongs to the couple. Avana and Chris’s celebration embodied that truth with effortless grace.
